Why can't I find the Storage Bin button?
The first thing you need to do is check and see if you have the latest version of ERM. If you do not, go to the ERM main page and download the patch. You will not lose any database information. Once you have the latest version, you will need to use the "Tabbed View" instead of the "Standard View" to see the Storage Bin button. To switch to "Tabbed View", go to Admin -> Settings -> Action Settings and select "Tabbed View". The Storage Bin will be in the upper right-hand corner of the Add screen. The Storage Bin is not available with the "Standard View" because of the size of the Add screen.

Why do I get a Run Time Error '401' when updating and/or copying a recipe?
When we switched the OK message box to a displayed message that goes away after 2 seconds (as in the add recipe), this error was introduced. The user is doing nothing wrong to cause this error to occur. This problem has sinced been fixed and new downloadable patch/install kits have been uploaded to the FYIT web page and available to users. The message box will be displayed to the user during edits and copies as it was before, while the status screen will be displayed when adding (multiple) recipes.

When I insert the Directions with multiple breaks from the Storage Bin into ERM, why does each step break in the wrong place?
Once you have pasted text into the Storage Bin, the Directions will have line breaks that aren't in the right places (after each step) because of the different formatting that is used in recipes emails and websites. To solve this problem, delete the line breaks and make your own breaks (for example, at the end of each step), and then transfer the text into ERM. Another option is to delete the line breaks, as you would above, and simply transfer the text. The Directions will not have breaks and will transfer the text in one paragraph of Directions.

Why do I get the following error when I use the Alt Viewer button in the SimPrint module: "There was an error while trying to save this text. Error - Opening File"?
If you select a recipe and use the Alt Viewer button it will open the recipe in Microsoft Word or Notepad or other .rtf or .txt & processor/editor. If then you go back to the recipes and select yet another recipe and try to use the Alt Viewer button you will get this error. This error is a result of not renaming the file for the second recipe (which can be done at Admin -> Settings -> File Settings). To resolve, either rename before the second attempt to use the Alt Viewer or exit the first transferred .rtf or .txt file.

To create the illusion of hard returns or double spaces in these areas, simply press the Control key and Enter key simultaneously. This will create a "hard return" which gives viewing a much neater appearance.

How do you paste text into the Storage Bin?
Paste text by simply right-clicking on the Storage Bin and highlighting "Paste" or by using the keystroke Ctrl+V while in the Storage Bin.

Why am I able to export recipes, but not Import them? I get no ERROR and the process looks like it is working fine.
The reason that users are not able to import recipes is because there have been some database changes to v2.7 that have not been reflected in the Import/Export functions. These functions will be repaired to work with the new table changes and a patch will be placed on the web shortly.
