Why does ERM have problems running correctly when launched from the Patch by clicking the [Exit and run ERM 2.5] button?
When the application is run from the patch, the A: disk has control over the application. If the A: disk is removed, the application may try to read it during certain operations (saving settings, printing) and causes the 'Drive not ready' error. This has been fixed (by removing that button and forcing users to run ERM from the start menu (or some other standard method) and a new ERM 2.5 patch has replaced the old.

Why does the patch crash when trying to register SimPrint.DLL?
To register a file on your computer, you need regsvr32.exe. If this file is not in your SYSTEM folder, the file will not be able to be registered. The patch used to crash when this file was missing, but now it will simply display a message to the user explaining that the SimPrint module should be installed separately because the patch can't register it properly. If you received this error and have trouble viewing/printing recipes, cabinets, etc., then you will need to download the SimPrint Install Kit and install the SimPrint module separately.

Why is OLEAUT32.DLL out of date and how do I fix it?
The oleaut32 file is automaticaly used by your computer (behind the scenes) when applications use DLLs. If for any reason it is out of date, you can download and install the VB Run Time files from support. This will put the latest version of the VB run time files (including OLEAUT32.DLL) on your system.
