Visual Basic Run Time Files
Visual Basic Run Time Files are now included with ALL installation packages available from FYIT. However, if you need to install the VB run times separately, they can be downloaded in a separate install package here.

Microsoft Data Access Components
If the application you have downloaded uses a database, then DLL's and other files supporting ADO, ODBC, OLE, etc., must also be installed. Luckily, Microsoft packages them all in one standard setup file and distributes it freely. mdac_typ.exe can be downloaded directly from Microsoft and must be installed for any packages using a database. Just download and install the latest version (in English).

DCOM 95 install
In very rare cases, DCOM95.exe must be installed on machines for MDAC to install properly. If you have tried everything else on this page and still get ODBC errors, please download and install dcom95.exe.
